Joy Wyant-Hatchett is Vice President of Property Management where she oversees the day-to-day operations and management of every property in Elevation’s portfolio. Joy also leads Elevation Property Management’s efforts to recruit and hire top-tier staff, maintains financial health, and implements capital improvement projects.
Prior to joining Elevation, Joy served as Vice President of Operations for a major affordable housing management company, where she managed a multi-state portfolio of over 3,000 units with an annual budget in excess of $20 million.
With over 20 years of affordable property management experience, Joy has earned a reputation for excellence in state and local compliance, physical rehabilitation, and strengthening the financial health of the properties under her leadership. She holds HCCP and CPO designations.
Joy is passionate about leadership development and believes that the most successful communities are the ones where staff feel appreciated, supported, and empowered by management to deliver a reliable, customer service-oriented experience for residents. She believes that every community in the country requires safe, clean, and affordable housing options in order to be sustainable and prosperous.
Along with her husband Wiley, Joy moved to central Florida in 2021. They live in Deltona with their dogs Jaxx and Jill. In her free time, she enjoys baking and exploring all that Florida has to offer, especially the beaches.
